ElarScan A2-400 will work for digitise a collections of Komi-Permyak Museum of Local Lore
Planetary scanner Elarscan A2-400 is supplied to the Komi-Permyak Museum of Local Lore (Perm Krai, RF) named after P.I. Subbotin-Permyak. The equipment is intended for digitization of drawings and various items of the museum's collection.
The museum's collection consists of more than 80 000 items, which includes a unique collection of works of the avant-garde painter of the early twentieth century P. I. Subbotin-Permyak, books on different branches of knowledge XVII - XIX centuries in Komi-Permyak, Russian and Latin languages. There are early printed books, miniature facsimile editions, books with old possessory and dedicatory inscriptions and autographs within the Museum Library Collection. "We are planning to digitize with ElarSCAN A2-400 a wide variety of objects: artworks from the Museum's collection, publications from the fund of rare books, periodicals from our scientific-regional library, documents, photographs and posters," - said the chief curator of the Museum Mrs.Tatiana ZUBOVA.
